ICE must be held accountable when they assault and murder innocent people or break the law in any other way. What makes the ICE murder of Alex Pretti even worse are the lies from people like Kristi Noem and Greg Bovino which are easily disproven by simply watching the videos we fortunately have. To call this man a “domestic terrorist” or claim he wanted to do “maximum damage and massacre law enforcement” is disgusting. Lies like these have given ICE a false sense of impunity and is one of the reasons why they’re behaving like a bunch of poorly trained trigger-happy masked thugs.
If Americans feel ICE should only be going after the “worst of the worst” and not people who have lived peacefully and productively in the country for years then they need to take it up with their elected officials and if necessary vote them out of office as soon as they get the chance. However they should not try taking what they feel is justice into their own hands by harassing ICE agents as they do their jobs as this is a recipe for future tragedies and will only further contribute to the chaos so peacefully protesting and filming from a safe distance YES, harassing law enforcement officers in the line of duty NO.
